Nearly all existing examples have inferior centering to the lovely copy offered here. In fact, the vast majority are found centered much more strongly to the bottom or to the left. And of the existing population many have small thin spots which are endemic to the Soft Paper Special Printings. Given this stamp's outstanding freshness, centering and fault-free condition, we would conservatively rank this as one of the top three examples in existence. An exciting opportunity to acquire a premium quality example of one of the rarest rarest stamps in U.S. philately. Signed H. F. Colman and accompanied by both a 1971 APS and a 1972 PF certificate. (Image) $100,000.00
