333 og/nh   The balance of the William H. Gross Collection of British North America, a worthwhile collection of several hundred items all housed in a single album, largely all mint stamps with just an occasional unused or used stamp noted, the greatest concentration of value and the most comprehensive areas being Canada and Newfoundland, with just a smattering of issues from other provinces, the early classics of Canada are a bit sparse, but beginning with the Large and Small Queens and continuing straight through the issues of 1935, the collection is quite comprehensive and contains a wealth of desirable sets and singles, with almost all of the better items of the early 20th century included, Newfoundland is collected in a similarly comprehensive manner and is nearing completion from the issues of 1861 through 1947, with a number of better sets and singles noted (including air posts), as well as a few varieties, the collection contains a wealth of highly collectible stamps that catalog $25.00 to $500.00 or more, vast majority with o.g., hinging ranges from a few with h.r.'s to a number being n.h., a few small faults are noted but the vast majority are fine to very fine; we suspect the total catalog value would be quite substantial; seventeen certificates accompany.
