Only twenty sheets of 100 of the Second Provisional issues with "5 Pf." surcharge were surcharged by the German Missionary printers in Tsingtau (Scott #4-6). Of these 2,000 stamps, 100 received the additional "5" handstamps (Scott #7-8) and another 200 the "5 Pf." handstamp (Scott #9). The remaining 1,700 stamps comprise the Second Provisional issue listed as Scott #4-6 spread out among the three surcharge types. The Type 1 surcharge with the "f" from Type 2 only occurs on position 23 and 26 of the setting of 50 and only a total of 80 examples were produced.Signed Proschold and accompanied by 1972 Bothe and Mansfeld certificates, as well as a 1987 Steuer certificate (Michel #1 II b, 2).
