1461 O RX1/46 #RX1-23, 25-43, 45-46, Distilled Spirits used collection, a seldom seen group of 40 different, representing a complete collection, less the two key stamps which have been offered separately, the 1950 series are all without punch cancels and generally have only a few staple holes on each, the 1952 series are with the usual punch cancels, overall the condition on these oversized stamps is far better than typically seen, with most being very fine, with only a couple of trivial flaws noted. 885.25

1471 ogO R151/RY6 #R151/RY6, Widely diversified balance of the Ballman revenue collection, hundreds of virtually all different stamps housed in a single Elbe President's album (with matching slipcase), both mint and used, with considerable value in the 1898-1940 Documentary issues, with many high values, the Proprietary issues are equally strong with several higher cataloging stamps noted, followed by a nearly complete run of Future Delivery stamps, solid Stock Transfer issues of 1918-40, Cigarette Tubes, Potato Tax, Customs Fees, Motor Vehicle and Rectification stamps are all complete, as are Hunting Permit stamps (early issues either used or without gum, later issues mint), concluding with a few Firearms Tax stamps; condition is decidedly mixed, however there is the occasional nice quality stamp (often better) to be found, plus the total catalog value of this collection will be quite impressive, which certainly should well exceed $15,000.00. Est. 3,000-4,000

1479 og image1915 Unissued Sinai Peninsula pictorial set of six stamps, printed in Vienna for the Turkish government to use in Egypt in anticipation of Turkey's victory over Britain, however when the British army pushed back the Turks, the stamps were never issued, although some were overprinted for use in 1918-19, the remaining stocks being destroyed, making this quite an elusive set, o.g. except one unused, four stamps n.h., very fine.
