1252 O RS50c image#RS50c, The Centaur Co., 1c Vermilion, pink paper, an astounding virtually perfectly centered jumbo example. to give a perspective of how large the margins are the top perforation tips show the frame of the next stamp at top and the other three margins essentially match, margins on this issue are normally half the size of these and then to have great centering as well is almost unheard of, an extremely fine sound gem; undoubtedly the finest know example of this stamp, the epitome of a condition rarity. Co., 2c Black, silk paper, a marvelously well centered example of this rare stamp that in addition is in mint condition possessing full o.g., h.r., small thin spot and trivial gum wrinkles are its only flaws, razor-sharp impression on fresh paper, of the less than a dozen examples that are known of this stamp this is one of the very best centered and attractive, to be mint as well is amazing and it is probably the only known mint example, very fine; ex-Joyce. Co., 2c Black, watermarked, an unusually handsome example of this stamp, nearly all of the stamps of this design are centered to one side or another, on the other hand this stamp is nearly perfectly centered within large margins, exceptionally fresh with pristine white paper, in addition nearly all of this issue have faults to a greater or lesser degree, this one has thin spots as usual but they do not detract from its extremely fine appearance; certainly one of the most attractive examples available.
