2089 og 30a image#30a, 1889 10c Rose, value omitted, an attractive mint example of this very rare variety, exceptionally fresh with bright radiant color, clean o.g., lightly hinged, fine; the same design plate that was used for the earlier sterling denominations was used for the decimal denominations, it was in this printing that apparently a sheet went through without being printed by the duty plate, how many remain is not known, but this is a major rarity of Gibraltar (S.G. #23b; £5,000).
