VII, a brilliantly fresh and incredibly well margined horizontal pair of this truly rare 20th century stamp, boasting absolutely enormous margins all around, unlike any other pair we have seen, plus it possesses a marvelous overall brilliance, with bright vibrant color and impression on pristine paper, o.g., n.h., some natural gum bends/wrinkles endemic to this wartime printing which are not even mentioned on the accompanying certificate, extremely fine; 2002 PF certificate. 1942 nh 534B image#534B, 2c Carmine offset imperforate, Ty. VII, a pristine mint horizontal pair of this very rare stamp, being in a true "post office" state of preservation, featuring color that is both intense and radiant on immaculate paper, large to huge margins all around, pristine o.g., n.h., and lacking the bends and paper flaws that are endemic to the offset issues, extremely fine; the vast majority of Ty. VII stamps were produced specifically for use by private vending and affixing machine companies, however a very small number of totally imperforate Two Cent Ty. VII stamps found their way to the public, and only a tiny number of these exist in the premium quality that this striking pair possesses; 1993 PF certificate. (Image) $7,500.00
