1053 og 85B image#85B, 2c Black, "Z" grill, a spectacular appearing example of one of the rarest and most challenging of all the grilled issues to find mint in any condition, let alone with such magnificent centering, as this stamp possesses centering unlike any other example found in our records, with extraordinarily wide and perfectly balanced margins all around (virtually all other known mint copies are quite poorly centered, often with the perforations cutting the design), additionally this stamp boasts a remarkable overall brilliance and freshness, with strong rich color and a sharp design, full pristine o.g. which shows the grill impression exceedingly well, lightly hinged, there is a faint diagonal crease across the top which in no way detracts from its incomparable extremely fine appearance; despite the presence of the faint crease there is no doubt that this stamp ranks among the top five existing original gum examples of the Two Cent "Z" Grill; 1987 PF certificate.
