222 O 132 image#132, 90c Carmine and black re-issue, a remarkable quality used example of this important re-issue rarity, exquisitely centered within enormously large margins all around, its colors being strong and rich, while its impressions are well incised on fresh clean paper, fully intact and even perforations all around, with crisp portions of New York numeral grid cancels from the duplex cancel as opposed to the nebulous unidentifiable cancels seen on some used examples, extremely fine; the Ninety Cent 1869 Re-issue is one of the rarest to find in used condition with only 30-50 examples estimated to exist, of which the example offered here is one of the finest available, being an incredibly beautiful and desirable stamp; 1978 and 1999 PF certificates; ex-Zoellner, "Ganymede".
