148 og 24/833 #24/833, C1/24, K2/10, Q1/9, Valuable mint balance of the Philip Lewert collection, comprising 227 stamps neatly arranged in a stockbook, with a few early issues such as #39 with a clear PF certificate but with small faults, #187 with PF certificate and a 90c Bank Note, much of the value is in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with some later Large Bank Note issues, as well as Small Bank Notes to the 10c value, Columbians to 30c, First Bureau Issue to 15c and Second Issue includes both $1.00 values and the $2.00 Bright blue, the Trans-Mississippi set is complete, the 1902 Issue goes to the $2.00 value, after that is becomes a little sparse, but does contain the perf. 11 Washington-Franklins including the 5c Error in a block of six, also the 1922 Regular issue complete to the $5.00, "Kans." overprints complete, air posts include the first three stamps and #C6, and finally three Offices in China and five Parcel Posts, there are only a couple duplicates and one used stamp (#117), the condition on the early issues is somewhat mixed, with a small number of regummed or reperforated stamps present, but there are also never hinged stamps from this time period, the later period is o.g. with a large number of never hinged, this was collected for the attractiveness of the stamps, therefore very few will have less than very fine centering; even using the most conservative method of cataloging, one will come up with a number in excess of $25,000.00. Est. 4,000-5,000

149 ogPB 628/901, C7/CE2 #628/901, C7/CE2, Balance of the select plate block collection consisting of over 175 different, mostly commemoratives and air posts starting with issues of 1926 and including most 2c Red commemoratives, Washington Bicentennials cplt., 1938 Presidentials to the $2.00 and Famous Americans cplt., plus 23 different air posts starting with the 1926-27 Maps and concluding with the 1941-44 Transports, condition is overall excellent being chosen for their freshness, bright colors and particularly choice centering, o.g., some lightly hinged are present but a large portion are never hinged, a great opportunity to acquire the more modestly valued plate blocks from this period with few grading less very fine or extremely fine. $3,230.00
