978 P Q1P2-12P2 image#Q1P2-12P2, 1c-$1.00 Parcel Posts, small die proofs on rather thick proof paper cplt., an enormously rare complete set of these seldom offered proofs, most margins are 3mm-4mm wide, all are facially attractive though most have small thin spots, apparently being affixed to some sort of cards with a tenacious gum, somewhat similar to Roosevelt proofs but the paper being softer and more easily damaged, fine-very fine appearance; Scott highly values both the small die proofs and the "Panama-Pacific" small die proofs the same, and properly so, as we have only seen one set of each and both types of small die proofs are probably scarcer than the large die proofs; a highly important proof set of the 20th century for either the proof or Parcel Post specialist; C.A.
