1244 ogOc 1916-51 Booklet pane multiples collection of se-tenant multiples taken from booklet panes or the sheets printed for booklet panes, includes mostly the Republic and Third Reich period but includes a few items from the postwar Allied Zone and Federal Republic, over 35 mostly mint stamp multiples arranged on pages, mostly hinged, of greater significance are 24 covers franked with various multiples including some better with the Michel value of the used multiples alone to a couple hundred euros or more, including two nice registered covers with Wagner semi-postals, also the two Allied Zone Numeral booklet panes each on cover; of a similar nature because of se-tenant values next to each other are over 50 mostly mint postal stationery items of this same period, including cards, letter cards and pneumatic post envelopes, each with at least two stamp imprints and some with three, some of these are printed to private order, condition varies but overall fine-very fine; an interesting collection well worth examining. 1245 BK Michel MH #8/49 Michel MH #8/49, 1917-41 Germany extensive booklet collection of over 40 complete booklets and a few partial booklets, includes the period of the Republic and Third Reich, mostly on pages exploded for display purposes but including some unexploded booklets as well, starts with a scarce MH #8 booklet complete for the panes and the covers, but lacking the interleaving, includes an interesting range of the regular issues and semi-postals, the latter including a scarce complete booklet of MH #18b, the scarce 20pf booklet pane of two being thinned in the selvage in disassembly, most booklets are complete for the panes, covers, and interleaving, panes are attractive and well centered overall, an occasional hinged or pane with slightly disturbed gum are present, the vast majority are never hinged, a few faults are to be expected but mostly fine-very fine; figured as complete booklets if covers, panes and interleaving all present, otherwise as panes only, total Michel value is over €10,000. 1248 nhBP Michel MBH #3,4, 5X, 17, Michel MHB #3, 4, 5X, 1955-58 President Theodor Heuss booklet pane sheets, the three different sheets that were used to make three different booklets with panes of various combination of values and labels, these sheets because of their size and the fragile nature of the paper are difficult to keep together, the scarce first MHB #3 is intact but has light horizontal and vertical folds, MHB #4 has vertical folds in the gutters, some of which are splitting, MHB #5X is the first printing of this issue and is intact and fresh, all o.g., n.h., fine-very fine except as noted; also including a 1972 Olympic sheet (MHB #17; some perf. separations), most of these were broken up for se-tenant multiples, and an Accident prevention sheet (MHB #19), o.g., n.h., very fine; all housed in a tube.
