Austria mint 20th century collection of a couple hundred regular
issues, commemoratives and semi-postals up to the 1950's (#110a/556,
B1/C53), plus some modern, virtually all in complete sets with such better
sets as 1908-13 Reign of Franz Josef and the similar 1910 Birthday set,
numerous semi-postals including 50g WIPA on both ordinary and silk papers,
o.g., many are never hinged, fine-very fine with the majority being very
fine.

Brazil mostly used collection to 1968 in a homemade album, most of
the value in the early issues, with all three Bull's Eyes plus an extra 60r
value, also a comprehensive showing of the 1844-1861 Imperforate issues,
later issues also fairly well filled, with some mint stamps after 1930,
also back-of-the-book issues, mixed condition on the early issues,
otherwise generally fine or better.
British Commonwealth valuable collection in nine homemade albums,
with representation from nearly all colonies, stamps generally ranging from
the earliest issues to the late 1950's, although some go later (we note
that the Canada has a nice run of modern mint to the 1990's), with high
cataloging mostly used classic issues, and some better mint 20th century
sets and high values, the highest values often represented by a Specimen
overprint or a fiscal cancel, not only are the most popular colonies
present, but many elusive areas such as Baghdad, Bangkok and Indian States
are also well represented, which is often not the case on general British
Commonwealth collections, the earliest issues are in typical mixed
condition, much of the 20th century is fine-very fine; a comprehensive
collection well worth a careful review.

British Colonies valuable mint and used collection in seven Scott
specialty albums, includes issues from the early 19th century to early
Queen Elizabeth II era, most of the British areas around the world are
included, of particular interest are two volumes of British Oceana which
includes a number of popular areas, we note early Cook Islands and related
areas, surprisingly good Fiji, New Guinea area, New Zealand and Australian
States, among others, there is also a stuffed volume of British America
with all the Caribbean Islands and South American well represented, plus
extensive Canada, Newfoundland and the other maritime provinces, two
volumes of British Asia include better Hong Kong, India and North Borneo,
and finally two volumes of British Africa, condition varies as would be
expected on a collection of this size and scope but a large percentage are
o.g. or used, fine-very fine; an excellent collection well worth examining.

British Commonwealth 1948-49 Royal Silver Wedding omnibus cplt. less
only the Spanish Currency Morocco Agencies (S.G. #176-77; £22), but
includes at least fourteen duplicate sets of various colonies including
Falkland Islands, o.g., n.h. except for Hong Kong and some of the
duplicates, very fine; an attractive set of this popular omnibus issue.

Canada mint dealer's stock neatly laid out in a stockbook (#14/411,
C1/O45), some useful early issues, the value really begins with the 1897
Jubilee issue, with usually three of all values to the 50c, the early 20th
century issues are similarly represented by small quantities of each value
including high values, the 1920's-1940's commemoratives are more extensive,
often with five or more of each including the 50c and $1.00 values,
back-of-the-book has solid showings of air posts, special deliveries,
postage dues, and officials (including perforated "O.H.M.S."), plus there
are a few booklets, some of the earliest issues are no gum, but after that
virtually all are o.g., with many never hinged, some small faults but
generally fine-very fine; an especially useful lot for a dealer wanting a
nice saleable stock of mint Canada.

Czechoslovakia mint and used collection in specialized hingeless
Schaubek album, starting with the Hradcany issues of 1918 as the country
came into existence after WWI to the issues of WWII, early issues include
perforation varieties, later issues with more mint and include some with
labels, includes a selection of "Posta/Czechoslovakia/1919" overprints with
some better, we note the 1917 third set of Austrian postage dues complete,
air posts include some printing trials on pink paper, also includes a few
military stamps, a nice selection of WWI era Eastern Silesia is present as
well as the WWII German occupation issues of Slovakia and Bohemia and
Moravia, o.g. or used, mostly fine-very fine; no great rarities here but a
useful collection.
Europe and colonies extensive collection in 36 homemade albums,
appears to have representation from all European countries, many countries
go to the 1960's, with a few of them going right up to recent issues,
Western Europe being quite strong, with mostly used 19th century, including
many high cataloging stamps (particularly from Italian States), the 20th
century is mixed mint and used and contains many sets, including
semi-postals and air posts, not only are the countries themselves quite
comprehensive, but there is also good value in colonies, offices abroad,
occupations, etc., with the French colonies and offices being particularly
strong, Eastern Europe is rather well filled, including Russian republics
and occupations, condition is mixed, especially on the early issues, much
of the 20th century is fine or better; a valuable collection offered
completely intact.

Finland mint and used collection on pages, includes a smattering of
early issues, 20th century is fairly comprehensive with better sets and
singles, we note 20 complete booklets of #316a showing the different
positions of the panes, extensive semi-postals including some better FDC's,
air posts include a mint 1930 Zeppelin overprint, plus other
back-of-the-book issues including a 1963 military stamp on cover, also a
few related areas including some Greenland, mostly fine-very fine.
France extensive mint and used collection, housed in three volume
Brimount Historical Album, very comprehensive with most spaces filled, plus
there are often extra copies in the 19th century and duplicate sets in the
later period with issues to 1969, includes some rare values in the 19th
century, such as 1Fr Napoleon imperforate (thinned), but condition of the
19th century issues is very mixed ranging from faulty to very fine, used
predominates in the early period to about 1930, with largely mint
thereafter, includes better semi-postals, air mails and postage dues, plus
even some better newspaper stamps, we also note pre-cancels throughout and
some complete booklets, condition of the 20th century is generally quite
clean, o.g. or used, fine-very fine; needs to be examined to appreciate the
value of this collection

French Colonies mint and used collection of several hundred
different, neatly mounted on pages, starts with some early general issues
for the colonies, then collected by country, sets are not always complete
but contains many of the issues of the early 20th century and includes most
of the 5Fr values of the long definitive series, also includes some better
postage due sets, fine-very fine.
German Zeppelin cover collection/accumulation, includes a total of
nineteen German covers, all with the early Zeppelin stamp frankings,
sixteen covers have either 2M Ultramarine or 4M Black brown (two with
both), includes a variety of flights but largely 1928 or 1929 America
flights, also includes one cover each with 2M South America Flight stamp,
2M Polar Flight overprint and 2M with Chicago Flight overprint; in addition
there are four Zeppelin covers from other countries including two Brazil
postings with special Pan-American flight stamps, overall clean and
attractive, fine-very fine and a nice lot.
German colonies in Africa mint collection consisting of German East
Africa complete, German Southwest Africa complete including the two
unissued values of the first issue and the scarce 25pf Orange of the second
issue, also Cameroun virtually complete, lacking the unwatermarked 5M but
including an extra watermarked example and including the British Occupation
"C.E.F" surcharges cplt., nice clean collection on album pages, o.g.,
fine-very fine with the vast majority very fine (Michel €3,580).
Great Britain mostly used collection to 2003 in two homemade albums,
starts off with two Penny Blacks and contains an array of line engraved and
surface printing issues, with all of the Shilling and Pound values from the
1878-1891 period including the £5 Orange, plus King Edward VII to
£1, Seahorses to £1, and the £1 P.U.C., solid run of QEII
issues which are mainly mint from 1970 onward, also postage dues,
officials, offices in Morocco and Turkey, etc., the early stamps are in
mixed condition, later issues often fine or better, with the recent mint
being never hinged, overall a useful collection that boasts a high catalog
value.

Italy and area mint and used collection stuffed in Minkus album,
largely Italy proper but includes some Italian States in rather mixed
condition, though we note a few better Tuscany, also includes some colonies
and other related areas, literally hundreds of stamps with better sets and

fine-very fine collectable stamps; careful examination will prove
rewarding.
Japan 20th century mostly mint collection/accumulation of several
hundred in one album and on portions of album pages as well as stock cards,
etc., only a modest number of regular issues but includes numerous
commemoratives including the early issues, rather extensive collection of
Parks souvenir sheets, many of which are never hinged, also a few offices
in China and other miscellaneous, largely o.g., some n.h. scattered
