605 c Sieger #232B var. imageSieger #232B var., 1933 Seventh South American Flight, an unusual registered postage due cover without stamps, though it is quite likely this was franked with a 1Z Black "Port/Gdansk" overprinted block of four as a faint impression of the postmark is present, a strike at left of "Polski Urzao P.-T./Gadansk 1/8 IXI 33" c.d.s., blue flight cachet and Berlin connecting flight cachet, backstamped Curitiba with an additional strike on the front next to the crayon due marking, very fine; it is quite likely the stamps fell off, or were taken off, in transit explaining how this cover got on the Zeppelin, but had to be charged postage due on arrival; a very interesting variety of this extremely rare Zeppelin cover of the Polish offices in Danzig; only 21 covers posted on this flight according to Sieger (Sieger €900; Michel #327b var.).
