Ia, position 100R4, an exciting used example of one of the most challenging 19th century Untied States stamps to find in premium quality, as the overwhelming majority are quite off centered and/or have faults, this particular example is impeccably well centered, but just as impressive is the deep prooflike color and impression on bright white paper, an unusually light town cancel further contributes to the stamp's desirability, an extremely fine gem and an immense rarity in this outstanding condition; 1971 PF certificate (when on cover), 1998 PF certificate and a 2004 PSE certificate (XF 90; SMQ $38,500.00); this is, by far, the highest grade the PSE has assigned to this stamp, being the sole example to grade XF 90 (the next highest grade is only a 30!).
