I, "Orangeburg Coil", perf. 12 vert., a marvelous and choice appearing used example of this rare and sought after coil, which was issued specifically for use by the Bell Pharmaceutical Co. to mail their samples to doctors, the centering is remarkable, being virtually perfect amid considerably larger margins than typically found, additionally its color is the characteristic deep violet shade, neat and unobtrusive wavy line machine postmark, small reinforced diagonal crease at top center (which are endemic to virtually all known copies) and certainly not affecting this stamp's extraordinary extremely fine appearance; a highly desirable example of this major 20th century coil rarity, certainly among the best centered and margined available of the approximately 75 known used copies recorded; 2002 PF certificate.
