1363 ogc U2 image#U2, 3c Red on buff, die 1, size 7, knife 20, wmk. 1, remarkable example of this very scarce mint entire, from the first printings with embossed red Nesbitt & Co. crest on the tip of the backflap, incredibly fresh with four crisp edges, extremely fine and desirable; early Nesbitt entires are especially elusive in this condition; ex-Floyd (UPSS #3). 1364 ogc U2 image#U2, 3c Red on buff, die 1, size 7, knife 20, wmk. 1, a lovely fresh mint entire, this is not among the earliest printed of this envelope as it lacks the red Nesbitt & Co. crest at the tip of the backflap, which was immediately ordered removed by the Post Office Department, however our observation is that this early die 1 without the crest is actually a scarcer envelope as most we have seen have it, a very desirable premium example with clean sharp edges and corners and just one tiny natural paper spot, extremely fine (UPSS #3).
