1617 O 7a image#7a, 1855 10p Blue on thick white paper, an outstanding used example of this rare stamp, possessing an overall freshness and brilliance which is seldom encountered, with deep vibrant color and razor-sharp impression on fresh crisp paper, unusually large even margins that are seldom associated with this value, four-ring numeral cancel, extremely fine; certainly one of the finest used examples of this stamp that we have offered, and our observation is that this thick paper is much scarcer than the modest deferential in catalog value reflects, especially in such choice condition; signed Buhler and accompanied by his 1998 certificate (Unitrade C$3,000.00). 1620 og 8a image#8a, 1857 1/2p Rose, on horizontally ribbed paper, extraordinarily rare mint horizontal pair, large to huge margins all around, attractive color, accompanying certificate states partial o.g. but our observation is that it has virtually full original gum that has been hinged several times, small paper faults including a tiny tear at top between stamps and tiny thin speck in left stamp, all of which is of little importance as this is believed to be the only known mint pair of this enormously rare variety on horizontally ribbed paper, extremely fine appearance; 2006 Greene Foundation certificate; ex-Dale-Lichtenstein, "Foxbridge" (Unitrade C$21,000.00+ for two fine singles with o.g.).
