VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE CELEBRATED $500.00 LARGE PERSIAN RUG, WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STAMPS IN ALL OF PHILATELY.
Only 204 were issued, and it is safe to say that most examples are faulty to some degree.
Kingsley Census No. 7-1. With 2001 P.S.E. certificate. (Image)
EXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF TWO RECORDED USAGES OF THE $1.00 SECOND ISSUE WITH INVERTED CENTER ON ITS ORIGINAL DOCUMENT. AN OUTSTANDING RARITY.
In his privately published census, Larry Lyons records a total of 26 copies. The other recorded document bears five copies of the error and is also used with a normal $1.00 stamp. These are the only complete documents bearing revenue inverts above the 2c denomination (one piece is also recorded).
