A RARE EARLY COLONIAL NEW YORK PREPAID POSTMARK ON A LETTER BOUND FOR ENGLAND. Our Historical Society of Pennsylvania sale included a series of postmarked letters from New York to Philadelphia, starting in 1740, but this marking from 1736 is earlier and still extremely rare with the "Paid to Boston" designation.
