Apr. 1" circular datestamp at left EXTREMELY FINE EXAMPLE OF THIS MAJOR CANCELLATION RARITY. ONLY THREE COMPLETE STRIKES OF THIS MARKING ARE KNOWN. ONE OF THE MOST ELABORATE FANCY CANCELLATIONS WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Only one is known on a full cover (also a 3c War Dept. entire). Only the cover and this example shows the town datestamp.
