address, fresh and Very Fine, very rare use of 1c 1857 on a carrier/drop-rate combination cover, illustrated in Ashbrook book (Vol. II, p. 150) and Kelly series (CCP, Vol. 51, No. 4, p. 215), ex Golden, with 2000 note from Ken Lawrence stating
that the stamp is "probably a coil stamp forerunner...affixed by a Snow patent or similar device"(Image)
