Sheet of 100 with selvage all around and imprint and plate no. 89 at top and bottom, virtually all Mint N.H., unusual uneven application of gum in places, brilliant color, unusual kiss of part of lower part of design on Position 100, few small flaws mostly limited to few perf separations FINE APPEARANCE. THIS REMARKABLE INTACT SHEET OF 100 OF THE 1873 90-CENT WAR DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL ISSUE IS NO DOUBT UNIQUE. A PHENOMENAL RARITY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER. The War Department Officials were printed in sheets of 100. The Lobdell Collection contained sheets of the 15c, 24c and 30c, but none of the highest denomination.
