2566 og United States Collection, 1847-1982. Hundreds of mostly unused stamps in four albums and a stock book, the most valuable book by far in the lot contains the following: 5c Deep Brown Orange No. 1d with unbelievable deep color but corner repair (valuable for reference), the other 19th Century regular issues are a bit spotty and in mixed condition with a few misidentifications although there is a nice used No. 12 with red grid cancel, the Columbians are complete with original gum to the $3.00, $4.00 disturbed and $5.00 regummed, nice colors, h.r. and couple small faults although better than other sets seen offered in collections, some better high value Bureaus with original gum, Trans-Mississippi complete to $1.00 (10c used), a sampling of other better high values with original gum incl. Nos. 312-313, 480, 523-524, 547, 1922-25 complete, also White Plains souvenir sheet and Kans.-Nebr. ovpts and more, the Air Post is complete less the 1930 Graf Zeppelins, the other volumes incl. better blocks and plate blocks of the 1920's and 30's, some B-O-B and duplicates, while the early part is mixed condition there is still an awful lot of nice useful material to be found in this collection with much Fine-Very Fine E. 7,500-10,000

2568   United States Collection, 1851-1979. Two-volume collection in Scott National albums, both regular issues and back-of-book, used incl. 1c 1851 Ty. II (four), Ty. IV (six), 10c-30c 1861, 10c and 15c F Grills, mostly unused from 1879 forward, a number of Washington Franklin coils but generally sparse coverage from Bank Notes until 1917 Washington Franklins at which point there is a high degree of completeness through 1979 (less the scarce and rare stamps), White Plains sheet (Mint N.H. and choice centering), Kansas-Nebraska, etc., greatest strength is in back-of-book which is all unused, Air Post less Zeppelins, Special Delivery incl. E3, E5-E7, complete from 1917 Perf 11 forward, J3, J16-J17, J22-J25, J38-J41, Offices in China K1-K16, Parcel Post complete through 20c, Officials incl. 3c Agriculture, 1c-2c, 6c-10c, 24c-30c Interior, 6c Justice, 6c and 30c Navy, 1c-2c, 6c and 10c State, 7c, 15c-24c and 90c War, 12c Interior Soft Paper, Newspapers incl.
