III (26) tied by grid cancel, "New-York Nov. 28" (1860) circular datestamp, docketed "answered" (secretarial), some edgewear, stains at left FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF A BEARDLESS LINCOLN RAILSPLITTER CAMPAIGN ENVELOPE ADDRESSED TO LINCOLN IN SPRINGFIELD AFTER HIS WIN IN THE 1860 ELECTION.
