EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A MARVELOUS NEVER HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-RUPEES ON 10-RUPEES OFFICIAL WITH SURCHARGE ERRONEOUSLY PRINTED ON THE KING GEORGE V STAMP.

This surcharge was supposed to be printed on the King Edward VII stamps but a small number were mistakenly applied to the King George V stamps. The current Scott catalogue value of $800.00 is a mystery to us. (Image)
