1322		CANADA, 1935, 10c Carmine Rose, Broken Leg on Mountie Variety (Unitrade 223ii). Mint N.H. vertical pair, bottom stamp the variety (position 48 on the pane), brilliant fresh VERY FINE. A HIGHLY DESIRABLE EXAMPLE OF THE RAREST PLATE VARIETY OF THE 1935 KING GEORGE V PICTORIAL ISSUE. This variety is found on position 48 on a small number of panes, likely caused by foreign matter on the plate. It was apparently corrected quickly during the print run, as there are only a small fraction available compared to the other plate varieties of this stamp.
