Feature Auctions

  • Gert Mueller GmbH Public Auction with rare singles,Europe, Germany and Colonies, Collections, Estates, Postcard and Cover Lots. - May 14-17, 2025 The 126th international Gert Mueller Auction will take place from May 14th to 17th 2025. It includes numerous rare single lots with many rarities from various European countries as well as Germany and German colonies. Also many collections, large estates, postcards and cover lots will also be offered.

  • StampAuctionNetwork Country Collection Lots, Singles and Sets - May 23, 2025 with AutoHammer We continue our efforts to bring new collectors to auctions by offering a number of starter country collection lots. Most of these lots were pulled from 8 different Scott Internationals to 1940 and a Minkus Global up into the 80s. It creates the opportunity to get a good start on collecting a country at low cost. We also have sprinkled throughout the sale a number of quality singles and sets. A great way way to start collecting a country is to buy a number of collection lots, merge them, learn what you like and then pursue the more expensive items, and you can do that with these lots. I expect there will be some seasoned bidders on these lots also, as some of these countries are in demand, and this is often where you find bonus items as only one of the Scott Blues had been picked for single lot sales. This will be our 3rd AutoHammer sale.

  • Daniel F. Kelleher Auctions, LLC Collections, Stocks and Accumulations of the World - May 28-29, 2025 Our general US collections are among the most numerous recently offered, with solid issue-specific and Back-of-the-Book holdings, extensive Face Value lots (get your postage in before the next rate hike!), and attractive Postal History from the Civil War to the Zeppelin age. Not to be missed are the Worldwide Topical Collections drawn from the "Phoenix", "Mannenkenpis" and Campbell Hall Stamp Company holdings, offering a wide range of subjects, the Mannenkenpis in stockbooks or albums, "Phoenix" and Campbell Hall glassined, identified and ready for quick turn-around. Exploring Stamps on "The Cattle in the Storm" by Graham Beck, (full article or video), (video), (catalog)

Graham Beck, from the Youtube video channel, "Exploring Stamps" does an amazing job introducing the next generation to Philately. His latest video looks at the United States "Cattle in the Storm" to ask the question... "Is this the most Beatiful U.S. Stamp"?

Let's show Graham some love and visit his site and take a listen. In the video he mentions Canada's "Bluenose" as a contender for the most Beautiful stamp of all -- so in my video we will look at both stamps.

Thanks again to all our auction sponsors who made generous donations of stamps and covers for the auction, and to our collector friends who also made contributions.
