So when two of the rarest stamps of the colony are adjoined to form a se-tenant pair, it is truly an impressive occurrence. In fact, because of the layout of the surcharge settings, this is the only circumstance where two rarities were placed side by side - thus creating one of the most important rarities of all the British West Indies.A marvelous showpiece for the most advanced collections of either Turks Islands or the entire British Commonwealth. This pair has graced some of the most important classic collections including Boucher, Charlton Henry and Isleham. Accompanied by 1935 RPS and 2008 BPA certificates (Scott #27a-28; $14,500.00+).
