Hoyt, 4c Black on silk paper, imperforate, a highly select example of an incredibly rare stamp in imperforate format, particularly large even margins all around, exceptionally fresh, with a razor-sharp impression, the only imperfections are two faint vertical creases (virtually every copy has these creases, usually much more prominent) this is the rarest of the 4c values with less than ten copies recorded with this being among the very finest of that tiny group.
