149 c imageOA-OF grey-black (S.G. Spec. AS67) horizontal strip of six, margins all round except just touched at right, tied to 1841 (31 Mar.) large part entire from Swansea to Cardiff (1.4), cancelled by Maltese Crosses in black, two stamps crossed by vertical filing crease (accompanying certificate states lifted and reaffixed, which we find inaccurate since the strip still possesses much of its original gum, the creases have not been pressed, and it is in exactly the same state as when offered in the first Seymour sale), a fine and appealing franking; evidently the largest multiple from this plate known on cover; 2000 RPS certificate; ex-Seymour and "Daisy".
